I am María Costa, an architect trained at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I arrived in Nicaragua ten years ago with the intention of exploring new ways of living and designing. Over this time, I have learned about local materials, the construction dynamics of the area, and the cultural richness that defines each project.
My approach is based on the functionality of spaces and a constant dialogue with each client. I hold personalized meetings to understand their needs, desires, and lifestyle, translating them into coherent and sensitive architectural solutions. I am passionate about working with local materials, integrating the technical with the sensitive and the aesthetic with the practical.
As a synthesis of everything I have learned during my travels around the world, I founded Costa Arquitectura: a studio that reflects my way of understanding design as experience, as listening, as transformation. Each project is born from a sensitive perspective, always inspired by nature.
For me, architecture is that: a way to build with meaning, beauty, and respect for the environment.
